Sixteen years ago, a small group of people at the Fritz Haber Institute in Berlin developed the FHI-aims package. Today, more than 200 contributors from around the world work on its diverse topics and functionalities. A newly released introductory FHI-aims paper highlights the achievements of this remarkable and wide-ranging collaborative effort.

In this paper, Dorothea, Jannis, Moritz, Antonio, Qing-Long, and Ramon contributed to the All-Electron GW for Finite Systems section.
Dorothea and Qing-Long also took park in the Relativistic Effects section.
Antonio and Dorothea contributed to the Random Phase Approximation and Beyond for Total Energies and Forces section as well.
Dorothea was involved in several other sections too, including Neutral Excited States: Casida Equation for Linear-Response Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory and Bethe-Salpeter Equation.
